What identification documents are required for live account application?

When applying for a live account, we will ask you to present the following documents to verify your corporate or individual status and to confirm your identity.
What specific documents are required?
【For corporations】
1.A copy of the certificate of registered matters or certificate of seal impression (issued within the last 3 months)
2.Identification documents of the representative (with a photo that verifies name, address and date of birth)
(Example)
3.Only if the representative and the person in charge of the transaction with Opn Payments Japan are different: Identification documents of the person in charge of the transaction and a letter of attorney from the corporation, or a business card or employee ID card
4.Only if additional information is requested: annual securities report, annual report/financial statements (with audit certificate), etc.
Note: In some cases, we may request changes or additional required documents.
【For individuals】
Please submit one document that verifies the individual's name, address, and date of birth.
(Example)
How do I submit my documents?
Upload photos taken with a digital camera or smartphone, or scanned images from your scanner, from the Live Account application page. Please submit clear images with no light reflections, missing or illegible text.
Files that can be uploaded are as follows:

How many days does it take for review after submission?
The screening period varies depending on the card brand applied for. For more information, please refer to this article. In addition, it may take more time than stated if the documents are incomplete or additional information needs to be presented. Please understand this in advance.
